Planning this event is going to be some fun, and I'm realizing how much work this is going to be. For the record, if you have any whim or desire about what you think this should look like now, I would recommend letting me know now, so that you can be placed in charge of that aspect of the party. I heard back from Monte Vista and it sounds like there will be no problem having the event on that Saturday, and it will be a matter of deciding which facilities we can use once on campus. Also food...do we cater a picnic or is Togos and Costco OK? My inclination is to do this on the cheap, however I am starting to realize we will probably have to register and charge for it. As it develops into a solid plan I will keep you posted right here!

I vote for catering the picnic. Maybe Monte Vista can do it for a reasonable cost. Also, I am assuiming this will be a family event we can bring our kids to- yeah?
